1. We, the principals and representatives of the Rohingya Community-Led Schools based in the refugee camps of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, have been educating our Rohingya students by establishing community-led schools in the camps, dedicated to ensuing the right to education, creating continuous learning opportunities for children, and providing formal, quality education
2. Despite facing several challenges in running our community-Led schools in the camps, we remain committed to providing quality education to children. We deeply understand that, in order to deliver quality education to our students, our schools must operate under a unified and collaborative management system. Therefore, after conducting several meetings and discussions over the past four months, the principals of the 53 Rohingya Community-Led Schools (attached below) successfully formed a Temporary Education Committee on April 19, 2025
3. Additionally, the Education Committee, through continuous discussions with school principals and representatives, has recognized the importance of establishing an Examination Board in the refugee camps. This will enable us to systematically manage examination-related activities such as properly conducting exanĂșnations, ensuring authentic examination results and assessing effective learning approaches in the schools
Accordingly, we are pleased to officially announce that we have successfully established the Examination Board of Rohingya Refugees. This board will effectively manage the schools examination processes, mcluding conducting student exams, grading their answer sheets, and announcing their results through a collaborative central board
